Issues in displaying Red color for the Negative values

In BIP report using rtf template, customer have an issue in displaying the negative value enclosed within the Bracket and displayed it as red color.

1. Added the conditional format column into the template and values are displayed as red for negative ones but the format gets disturbed.
2. And the other case is that the format comes up properly as $#,##0.00;($#,##0.00) but the color will not be red for the negative values.

Customer wants the report to show negative values in Red , as per Conditional formatting defined on the field.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Customer has added Conditional Formatting and formatting for the number format $#,##0.00;($#,##0.00)
2. This is not working, negative values are still shown in Black color

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot get the negative values in Red with correct formatting
