Fusion Learning Management: Calendar Invite Does Not Reflect Changes

When an employee registers for a instructor led offering within a course and selects the 'Add to Calendar' button he receive the calendar invite and is able to successfully import the meeting invite.
After the employee has registered if the Learning Administrator changes the date of the activity the employee does not receive an updated calendar invite. Therefore the employee has no way of knowing that the date has
changed. I assume in the same way if I cancel the activity the employee would also not receive an updated calendar request.
