The LDAP Server is Unavailable

Information in this document applies to any platform.
During the bridge install after providing the details to connect to Active Directory we get the following error: The LDAP server is unavailable
The install logs do not give any more information about why the bridge can not connect to Active Directory.
If we look at the Windows event viewer we can see the cause of the problem
