Error 'Application Service API Connection Failed' in the Log When Assigning the Partner Company Application Access in Cloud Administration (Doc ID 2384984.1)

Attempting to assign the partner company application access in Cloud Administration fails, and the following error occurs in the log:

YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [CompanyResource] - Creating/Assigning Application Access for Companies: 1
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [CompanyResource] - Processing company(1/1): <COMPANY_NAME>
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [CompanyResourceApi] - <COMPANY_NAME> - Started provisioning company changes to environment [PrimaveraUnifierStage]
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [ApplicationProvisionServiceImpl] - Application Service API connection failed: PrimaveraUnifierStage
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [ApplicationProvisionServiceImpl] - Assigning Application Access for company Company System Test failed with access : PrimaveraUnifierStage due to Application Service API connection failed: PrimaveraUnifierStage
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [ApplicationProvisionServiceImpl] - Done processing company: Company System Test
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [CompanyResourceApi] - Modifying Company <COMPANY_NAME> failed while provisioning to the application access
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [CompanyResource] - Processing Company Failed: <COMPANY_NAME>
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss GMT [CompanyResource] - Completed processing company <COMPANY_NAME>


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a Partner Company and enter necessary information.
  2. Assign access to Primavera Unifier Stage.
  3. Save the changes.
  4. View error in the log.


This can occur after an application upgrade.
