Goal
The article will present a series of actions that can be used to restore access / regain administrative access to a Windows OCI-C Compute (Compute Classic) instance.
It is assumed that an initial troubleshooting was done to rule out other potential causes such as improper network configuration for RDP access (e.g. security rule not in place to allow RDP traffic to the instance), temporary service outage, VPN tunnel not being up / active (if accessing the instance through an IPsec connection) etc.
