STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. the employees left or opted out of a QPS more than 12 months before the re-enrollment date - In this scenario they should get re-enrolled;
2. however the PAE calc card component details ‘Reason for exclusion’ is being set to ‘Left QPS 12 or more months ago’. - This is incorrect based on the attached guidance from the pensions regulator.

Observation:
From the legislative point of view, their's nothing that can be added.

Taking a look at the employee's data and see if it's a match.
If they have previously been enrolled and have since left the scheme, they should be re-enrolled in the next re-enrolment period if they meet the criteria for earnings etc..
If they do meet the criteria and have not been re-enrolled, that would suggest an internal incident investigation.
