BPM - Error Assignees

Customer is trying to update on the PaysheetNotification task the Error Assignees.
They want to update this to an expression but they are getting error:
"An unresolved error has occurred. Please contact your system administrator."
and they need to access again the BPM Administration.
Updating the Error Assignees to a username works without error.
