Route Number Created In Orders When Created Through REST API, Even Without Giving The Value (Doc ID 2388748.1)

Last updated on APRIL 20, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management Enterprise Edition Cloud Service - Version 8.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When creating an order through Web Service without any value in the route_nbr field in header section, the order gets created in WMS. The issue is that route_nbr field is automatically getting updated to ship_to_facility_Code/ destination_facility_code which is a hindrance to the downstream transactions.

The route number does not get created if the order is created manually.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Orders interface should not create the route_nbr value when it is not given in the order xml file.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Postman
2. Order does not have any value in route_nbr
3. Process order xml file information
4. Verify in UI and order route_nbr will be filled with same value as ship_to_facility_code
