Route Populated On Route Field In Order Header User Interface Via REST API When Route Number Not Specified In API (Doc ID 2388748.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 29, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management Enterprise Edition Cloud Service - Version 23.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When creating an order through Web Service without any value in the route_nbr field in header section, the order gets created in WMS. The issue is that route_nbr field is automatically getting updated to ship_to_facility_Code/ destination_facility_code which is a hindrance to the downstream transactions.

The route number does not get created if the order is created manually.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Oracle Warehouse on Cloud: Go to Postman.
2. Navigation Path: Order Header >  Order does not have any value in route_nbr.
3. Process order xml, xls file information on Postman.
4. Verify in UI and order route_nbr will be filled with same value as ship_to_facility_code.
