Currency Fields Are Reverting Back To USD When Other Fields Are Being Populated

When we try adding the Account and contact which is a DCL in deal registration in the create page, the currency fields are reverting back to USD from CAD or what ever the currency type is, we did not face similar issue in R12 instance.
We are facing this only in R13 production instance after it got upgraded last week. Could you please help us resolve this issue as the customer is going live today?
