Logging Into Unifier With Bidder Credentials, and Attempting to Access the Bid Node a Generic System Error Is Displayed

On Unifier : Any Version

When a Bidder/Vendor is invited to a Bid activity, they receive both the credentials email (when appropriate, i.e., the first time a user is ever invited to a bid) and the Bid Invitation email. However, when logging into the Unifier environment with the bidder credentials, and attempting to access the Bid Node a Generic System Error is displayed.

"Unifier Notification The system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases. Contact your System Administrator is you are still having problems".

Bidders expect to be able to login and see the Bid Invitations that they have been invited to for this Request For Bid (RFB) Business Process (BP).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Receive Bid invitation and Credentials Email
  2. Access the URL in the invitations and enter the Bidder Credentials
  3. When the Bidder logs into the Unifier page, and clicks on the bidding node for the Business Process, the Generic System Error noted above is displayed
