Symptoms
When running Create Accounting in Project Costing, two users can run the process successfully but one user, receives no output and the following appears in the log file:
xla.plsql.xla_fsn_acct_parent_pkg => 20-04-2018 14:46:27 - Inserting into xla_fsn_events_int
20-04-2018 14:46:27 - Failure =
A system error occurred. Your help desk was notified.
xla.plsql.xla_fsn_acct_parent_pkg => 20-04-2018 14:46:27 - Post Accounting Started
xla.plsql.xla_fsn_acct_parent_pkg => 20-04-2018 14:46:27 - Global Context cleared
The server log shows:
ORA-20969: Request 23795 exited with ERROR: : Review the Create Accounting Program Execution Report with process identifier 23796 for the events processed and journal entries created.
The successful user receives:
xla.plsql.xla_fsn_acct_parent_pkg => 20-04-2018 14:32:40 - Inserting into xla_fsn_events_int
xla.plsql.xla_fsn_acct_parent_pkg => 20-04-2018 14:32:40 Number of Events Inserted in XLA_FSN_EVENTS_INT =1
xla.plsql.xla_fsn_acct_parent_pkg => 20-04-2018 14:32:40 - Done inserting
Suspected the users didn't have access to xla_fsn_events_int but the user has the Project Accountant role with the proper data set assigned
The following is also returned in the log file for the 3 users and thus does not seem related (confirmed sequencing is off for this ledger)"
Sequence is not defined for the Ledger : XXX XXX Primary Ledger
