Service Name Fails If It Contains a Hyphen Or Is Longer Than 30 Characters

Goal
After 24 April 2018, service names are validated to follow these rules:
- Must not exceed 30 characters.
- Must contain only letters and numbers.
- Must not contain any special characters (including hyphens).
Customer created a service instance name which exceeds 30 characters and contains hyphens. In the same identity domain, that name is no longer valid. Why is this?
