Invalid Contract Party Error Using Search (Doc ID 2394420.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.13.17.11.0 version, Contract Authoring

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
On the contract parties page, Contact search
is not working Consistently
1- When party is being searched without selecting the role name.
---User is able to search employee only if last name is provided.
2- When party is searched after selecting role name
----User is able to search employee only if first name is provided.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The Contract Contact search should work with First Name for all conditions

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Click on Contract
2. Navigate to Contract Party Contact
3. When party is being searched without selecting the role name.
---User is able to search employee only if last name is provided.
2- When party is searched after selecting role name
----User is able to search employee only if first name is provided.


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot define parties contacts, Inconsistent search behavior
