Document Status from DocuSign Does Not Update When Document Is Signed

When signing a document in DocuSign the document is marked as completed, but the status for the associated quote in CPQ Cloud does not get updated.
The following error can also be observed in the bm.log:
[ERROR] com.bm.xchange.webservices.common.NotificationReceivingServlet.doPost(NotificationReceivingServlet.java:76) - Failed to generate response to notification.
Signature on notification message invalid.
