How To restore activities after converting contact to customer

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Our business had set up profile type "contacts" as Prospects and when the prospects commence writing business, they are switched to "customers".
Issue here is that the interactions will disappear - they do not get deleted but it stays in the Profile Type "Contact".
