Knapp Integration Pointing To DNS Instead Of IP Address

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customer had an issue when they switched IP addresses on Internet service provider and this caused the integration between Oracle and Knapp to break.
To future proof the process, we would like to suggest rather using a DNS address instead of routing to a static IP which could change.
We have done the same with our label printers in JHB and CPT where we have changed the domain to a DNS name.
