OAC-Essbase: Unable to Save Some Application Settings

Information in this document applies to any platform.
In the OAC-Essbase UI, trying to set the following application settings:
Steps to replicate:
1. In the Essbase UI, select the application and click on Settings.
2. On the Settings tab, click to 'Add'.
3. From the drop-down list, select one of the above settings and set a Value.
4. Click 'Apply'. When prompted to restart the application, click 'Yes'.
The Information message states "Application settings applied successfully." but the setting is deleted.
