Error: "ODI-1217: Session XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (XXXX) fails with return code 0" Or "ORA-01653: unable to extend table" When Executing An ETL For Primavera Analytics (Using ODI)

(Doc ID 2397728.1)

Last updated on MAY 11, 2018

Applies to:

Primavera Analytics Cloud Service - Version 17.7 and later
Primavera Analytics - Version 17.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After an ETL is executed (for example, LOAD_PLAN_DAILY, LOAD_PLAN_REALTIME_GLOBAL, LOAD_PLAN_REALTIME_PROJECT) the load plan fails with the following (evident within the ODI Studio):

ODI-1217: Session XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (XXXX) fails with return code 0.
  at oracle.odi.runtime.agent.execution.SessionExecutor.closeSession(
  at oracle.odi.runtime.agent.execution.SessionExecutor$SerialTrain.computeFirstDependentNodeInOptimizedWay(

  at java.util.concurrent.Executors$
  at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(
  at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Execute an ETL
  2. Note the failure which occurs from the log file

Note: If relative to the real-time ETLs, the error can be found from the ODI Studio.
