On : 18.04 version, Engage

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

280 Characters in SRM include @ mention names

Twitter allows 280 characters per tweet without the @ mention reference.
However, Oracle SRM includes the customer’s username as part of the 280 character count, which Twitter does not.
Therefore through SRM it is not possible to use the full char count. If multiple users are being replied to, a lot of characters get lost.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. log into Engage
2. select a tweet and reply to it by mentioning one or more users
3. the character count decreases though no text has been entered, only the @ mentions

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot benefit from using the same long text functionality as on native Twitter.
