Symptoms

The dbpatchm -list_patches or Prerequisites check from the Cloud Dashboard fails with XML parse error

The following error message is reported when you run dbpatchm -list_patches

unclosed token at line 131267, column 2, byte 44535801 at /usr/lib64/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187
or
not well-formed (invalid token) at line 3, column 0, byte 21 at /usr/lib64/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187
or
syntax error at line 1, column 0, byte 0 at /usr/lib64/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187
