Goal

Salary amount not being shown correctly due to erroneous data in salary database table

There is an employee in our system that is showing inconsistent data. This may be due to an Oracle bug.

If you look at the front end screens, this person has standard working hours of 40 hours per week, giving an FTE of 1. Hence they have a salary of 31,824.00 yearly (in the Manage Salary page).

But if you look at their salary in the CMP_SALARY table, it is 28832.54. This is due to the fact that the FTE_VALUE column shows a value of 0.906. So when someone creates an OTBI report, they are reporting an error.

For further information, the FTE value for this person prior to Feb 5 2018 was .906, so this may have something to do with it. You can also see this problem in production and the eebh-test pod.

Please investigate how this happened and get it corrected. I tried correcting it by changing the value then changing it back but this didn't do anything.
