Symptoms

When attempting to run the Multiperiod Accounting Program, the job ends with error:

Accounting process errored:
>> xlafrm_eval_expr()
XLA_AP_FATAL_ERROR! Module: xlafrm_find_period, Problem: date is not in any accounting period
Incident creation failed because of this error: .

Start date 01-MAR-18 used in formula PRORATE_PERIODS_INVOICES is not in any accounting period.
XLA_AP_FATAL_ERROR! Module: xlafrm_numglperiods, Problem: Start date 01-MAR-18 used in formula PRORATE_PERIODS_INVOICES is not in any accounting period.
The accounting engine has encountered an irrecoverable error. (MODULE=xlafrm_numglperiods) (PROBLEM=Start date 01-MAR-18 used in formula PRORATE_PERIODS_INVOICES is not in any accounting period.)

The issue is caused by a data entry error, the date entered for the start date is 01-JAN-2018, instead the user entered 01-JAN-0118 for one of the invoice lines.

The invoice is already validated, approved, accounted, and paid and the fields cannot be updated.
