Getting an error "Hostname verification failed" in FCCS, while doing Refresh Metadata in Data Management (Doc ID 2404083.1)

Symptoms

When doing Refresh Metadata from the Target Application settings users may get an error as below.

Error message:

ERROR [AIF]: Hostname verification failed: HostnameVerifier=weblogic.security.utils.SSLWLSHostnameVerifier, hostname=<server name>
INFO [AIF]: EssbaseService.loadData - END (false)
FATAL [AIF]: Error in CommData.loadData
Traceback (most recent call last):
