Last updated on JUNE 06, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Compute Cloud Service - Version N/A to N/A
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Use case:
Environment has 2 service instances(example instance-1 and instance-2) in OCI-LBaaS (corresponding to 2 identity domains in IDCS).
Instance-1 is having a load balancer pointing to the origin server 1.
Instance-2 is having a load balancer pointing to the origin server 2.

Goal

The purpose of this use case is to provide a DR solution between the 2 load balancers' URLs which are part of the different service instances in 2 different Identify Domains.

With this setup, the load can be balanced between the two Identity Domains. The question is if it is mandatory that both the instances must be available in the same Identity Domain?
