Cannot query newly created inventory org from Manage Inventory Organizations page

Can search for, and see, newly created inventory org from Manage Inventory Organizations page
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create Inventory Org 2008 (and 1032)
2. Navigate to 'Manage Inventory Organizations'
3. Search for org 2008; not found in Organization LOV
