"ODI Agent Status: Unreachable" In the ODI Agent Grouping Of The Analytics Administration Application

Symptoms

After connecting to the Analytics Administration application and browsing to a datasource > status tab, the ODI Agent location displays the following status message:

ERROR
-----------------------
ODI Agent Status
ODI Agent Status: Unreachable


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to the Analytics administration application
  2. Browse to staretl1 or staretl2 > status
  3. Note the error which occurs in the ODI Agent grouping area
