Unifier Performance With Internet Explorer 11 Is Not As Expected

When accessing Primavera Unifier version 17.7 and later environments with Internet Explorer 11, some web pages take an excessively long time to load. Some pages will even timeout before they completely load.
The issue is seen upon logging into the Unifier environment and trying to navigate to Business Process logs, Document Manager pages, Task logs, etc. Typically just when loading web pages, but really any of the Unifier pages.
