How To Clear Cache On A Scheduled Basis In Oracle Analytics Cloud(OAC) and BI Cloud Service(BICS) (Doc ID 2406210.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


The requirement is to clear the OBIEE Server Cache Files (.TBL files) on a scheduled basis. The following can be done to clear cache on a ad-hoc basis :

Login to DV URL > Console > Issue SQL > call sapurgeallcache();

This will clear all cache files. However using this approach you cannot schedule clearing cache.

Note : This document is applicable to OAC, OAC-Classic and BICS
