Files Larger Than 87Mb Cannot Be Attached to a BP Record via Web Services XML Call (Doc ID 2406590.1)

When attaching a large file using the Web Services createCompleteBPRecord XML call, the record is created and the file is uploaded. However, when the user tries to download the file attachment they receive a corrupted file.


When downloading the attached file it should be intact and contain all information.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Send the Web Services createCompleteBPRecord call that includes a file attachment larger that 87MB.
  2. A New Business Process (BP) record is created with the attached file.
  3. Observe the reported behavior.
