Purpose
Oracle PaaS Cloud Services in the Oracle Public Cloud will generally track the same de-support and error correction dates as on-premise Oracle Fusion Middleware releases. Any exceptions will be noted in this document.
In addition to de-support dates, one also needs to know how long Oracle will create new instances, clone instances and provide other types of support. Administrators are expected to plan implementations and upgrades accordingly. Once a release is not supported, no more patches (including security patches) will be generated for it.
Scope
This document is for Oracle PaaS Cloud Services administrators and other staff who need to plan upgrades and implementations, or software vendors who must plan on availability of particular releases in the Oracle Cloud.
