Symptoms

Business Intelligence 11g Enterprise, Install / Upgrade related issues

When migrating BI Publisher 11g Enterprise to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC w/ DB 12.1.0.2), data models setup with MS SQL JDBC driver have incorrect the date/time formats.

The migration tool was used to move from On Premise BI Publisher to OAC.

If the MS Sql JDBC driver from <Note 2058810.1> is installed on the OAC instance, and partially corrects the date/time formats.

The original on premise report shows dates and times as follows:

ACTUAL_DT (2018-06-04)
ACTUAL_TM(07:00:00)
TIME_STAMP(2018-06-07T11:08:25.290-05:00)

The OAC instance instead shows the same dates and times like the below examples:

ACTUAL_DT (2018-06-04T00:00:00:000+00:00)
ACTUAL_TM(1900-01-01T07:00:00:000+00:00)
TIME_STAMP(2018-06-07T11:06:24.620+00:00)

Users are unable to edit the format of the dates in the Layout Editor.

Changes

Moving from on premise installation to OAC.
