STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Create Batch
2) Process Item Interface
3) Process Item Extensible Attribute Interface
4) Pre-process Batch
5) Submit Batch

Customer sees that "Process Item Interface" returns an empty response whereas expecting data such as "ItemTransactionId" in the response.
