Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Distribution (Distro) & iblpn_info messages do not generate when advanced distribution parameter is enabled as YES.

The advanced distribution mode is used consistently and the same kind of distribution is expected using the sorter.  A single MHE system code is used for both wave and flow through allocation with the MHE SYSTEM flag 'Use consolidated allocations' = YES. This means that fair distribution is supposed to happen as soon as the IBLPN is scanned when parameter 'advanced distribution' is set to YES. The fair distribution should be reflected in the distro detail tags of the xml.  The match between distro and iblpn info messages should be the distro control number in order to keep consistency when MHE will send back the DISTRIBUTION PACK xml.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Set the parameter 'advanced distribution' to YES.
  2. Flow through LPNs pallets are allocated and inducted to MHE for distribution.
  3. Scan the LPN in RF-Text: Distribute {oblpn} module.
  4. WMS does not generate the distribution nor iblpn_info xml messages.
