On : version, Manage Project Costs-Record Accounting for Project Costs

We have some SLA Rules which are account rules that derives different segments of the COA. We have requirement where we need the projects to drive accounting and we have enabled the task DFF attribute1 to hold our natural account. Since we cannot reference a DFF as a source in a mapping set or account rules, we followed the solution mentioned in doc 2021266.1

But right now our issue is that the value set based rule is not available to picked as part of our other account rules since all our account rules are segment based rules. Right now our work around is to define a mapping set of Task Descriptive Flexfield attriubute1 to our natural account segment. Basically, the value from the Task Descriptive Flexfield Attribute1 should just be copied into Account Segment of COA, that's the need. Is that possible? If this is possible the maintenance will also be easy for us since our business can update the Task DFF value directly rather than depending on IT to update a mapping whenever an account change on a task. Is there a way to fix this ?
