PDB Open In RESTRICTED Mode after unplugging from Oracle Cloud Database Instance and attaching it to the new Oracle Cloud Instance (Doc ID 2415713.1)

Symptoms

The PDB has been unplugged from another CDB (WIndows) and plugged in to this Oracle Cloud instance resulting to RESTRICTED mode when it was opened in the new instance.

There is 1 PENDING item in PDB_PLUG_IN_VIOLATIONS the message that says "APEX mismatch: PDB has installed common APEX. CDB has not installed APEX.

Query results:

Check the status of the PDB$SEED and the PDB in questioned via SQLPLUS:

         2 PDB$SEED                       READ ONLY  NO 
         3 PDB01                             READ WRITE YES 

 

 

Changes

 Plugged an existing PDB from another instance to a new one.
