PROD: Data Loads Performance Issue

Successfully loaded Priority 1 - Level 2 Account (4 mil) accounts and its associated address, classification and Phone number. While doing these loads in Production, noticed slow import performance in production. The jobs that use to take 40 min in Test , took 80 min on an average in Production. Ran Accounts using Simplified loader – Accounts, Address and classification in a single zip folder. The files were created as 50,000 records in the Accounts file and their respective address and classification in the other files.

Load should be faster

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to sales cloud
2. Navigate to manage file import activity
3. Submit import job
4. Takes long time to finish
