Error 'The following block(s) are linked to a template and must be unlinked before they can be modified' When Attempting to Remove a Block or Unlink a Form Name in an Upper Form Template (Doc ID 2417939.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to remove a block(s) in an Upper Form or unlink a Form Name from an Upper Form template, the following error occurs.

The following block(s) are linked to a template and must be unlinked before they can be modified. blockname,BlockLabel.

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

1. Login to Unifier and navigate to the Company Workspace in Admin mode.
2. Navigate to uDesigner > Business Processes > Business Process Name > Upper Forms.
3. Open one Upper Form and click on the Blocks button in the Toolbar.
4. Select one Block and click on the Remove button.
5. Note the reported error.

There will also be one of the following additional symptoms:

1. Login to Unifier and navigate to the Company Workspace in Admin mode.
2. Navigate to uDesigner > Business Processes > Business Process Name > Templates > Upper Forms and select the TemplateName.
3. Click the Usage button.
4. Note that there is no Form Name to Unlink.

2. Navigate to uDesigner > Business Processes > Business Process Name > Templates > Upper Forms.
3. No Template is available.
