Payroll Balance items considered when creating a compensation item such as Total Compensation

On : 11.13.18.02.0 version

Set Up Compensation Management

Total Compensation - Manage Compensation Item Dimension Not Available

We configured a Payroll Balance Definition with a dimension "Assignment Last 12 Months".

When setting up the Total Compensation Item, the dimension is not available to select.

We are able to select Assignment Year to Date when added to the Balance Definition. How can we setup the definition to display the last 12 months.

Steps taken:

Setup Payroll Balance Definition
Navigate to Compensation > Balance Definition
Create Balance Definition
Enter Name, Source Category and Unit of Measure
Select Balance Dimensions
Search and select Assignment Last 12 Months
Add Balance Feeds
Save and Close
Navigate to Compensation > Manage Compensation Items
Add Item
Select Source Type Payroll Balance
Select Dimension – note that Assignment Last 12 Months is not an option but others are yet were not added in my setup
