Symptoms

The Oracle Analytics Developer Client Tool was downloaded from OTN and installed on a MS Windows x86 64-bit client machine.

The Data Model / RPD (that was previously uploaded to the OAC Classic instance) is being opened via the Administration Tool > File > Open > In the Cloud option, and with the SSL option unchecked / disabled.

The non-SSL connection fails with:  Warning: Trust store is not defined. SSL connections will not be available.

In the Admin Tool log at <OAC Client Tool Home>\domains\bi\servers\obis1\logs\<Windows User>_NQSAdminTool.log, we see the following command is being executed:-

[OBIS] [NOTIFICATION:1] [] [] [ecid: ] [sik: service1] [tid: 29b0] <OAC Client Tool Home>\bi\bitools\bin\\..\..\bitools\bin\datamodel.cmd downloadrpd -O <OAC Client Tool Home>\bi\bifoundation\server\<Temp File Name>.tmp -W ******* -U <user name> -P ******* -Q <OAC Client Tool Home>\bi\bifoundation\server\<Temp File Name>.tmp -SI bootstrap -S <Host> -N 80 -Y
