AutoVue Does Not Work Using Chrome, Error Message Is Received In Unifier AND JNLPException Is Captured In Java Console

Symptoms

On Any Oracle Cloud Hosted Unifier Environment : Any Version

When attempting to open a file from Unifier Document Manager, using AutoVue file viewer, the following error occurs.

"Unifier cannot connect to AutoVue server. You may be missing the required certificate. To attain the certificate and instructions go to View Help Menu in Unifier and click Download Plugins".

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Install a new certificate 
  2. Open Unifier with Chrome
  3. Open a file with AutoVue file viewer
  4. Notice the error

Due to this issue, users cannot open the files in Unifier using AutoVue with Chrome browser.
