A Data Element Form Label seems to be getting corrupted after it is created and added to a Business Process (BP) Upper Form.

When a Data Element (DE) is added to an Upper Form and given a Form Label, it's expected that it will remain the same, not change inadvertently.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Unifier
  2. Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > uDesigner > Business Processes > BPName > Upper Forms > Select the Upper Form > Add Custom Data Element "Form Label<DataElementName>" to the Details block.
  3. Save the Form.
  4. Open the form back up and view the Details block, note that the Data Element "Form Label<DataElementName>" now has the Label "Some Other Label<DataElementName>".

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot Add a DE to a BP Upper Form and have it remain static, it seems to change inadvertently.
