Goal

What is the exact behavior when selecting the MERGE option when resolution duplicates?

What does it means Deleted ? --> the victims are logically deleted ?
How the system reference table is update in this case ? --> when I merged contact 1 and 2 and for example 1 is the golden master, what is happening to the contact 2 and how may I know that the contact 2 is associated to the contact 1?

"However, there are tools and rules that you can use to determine whether to merge records or not. These rules can also help determine the record that should be kept as the golden master (the surviving record) and the record that should be deleted (the victim record)."
