Slow performance inserting to table in ICS

Have an ICS orchestration called PS_JEF_ONEJEF_VW. It takes the output of a BI report as XML, then loops through each record and inserts a row into a table in an on-premises Oracle database. The test file has 470 records but it is taking almost exactly 9 minutes (1.15 seconds per row) to insert into the table. This time starts with the first insert, so we are not looking at the preliminary steps before that (and those steps complete in just a few seconds).

Tried with and without segmentation. The current version uses "read entire file" (no segmentation) and "process items in parallel".

The previous version, with segmentation, still took 1.10 seconds per row.

Is there anything we can do to speed this up significantly? The production file will have thousands of records and there will be many other files like it.
