Applies to:
Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service - Version 18.06.55 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Per FCCS documentation, Movement members should only be set to Dynamic Calc and Never Share. Is it possible to add custom Movement members beneath FCCS_Mvmts_FX_Total that will store data values?
FCCS doesn't currently allow changes to that part of the Movement hierarchy, but aside from the default Cumulative Translation Adjustment (CTA) calculation for one currency translated to USD (as the Parent Currency) in prebuilt FX Movement members, the CTA from the offline currency translation should be stored in the Entity Currency in order to balance the Balance Sheet. This stored value would also allow the offline currency translation to be captured in Total Effect from Foreign Exchange.
