Symptoms

When attempting to login to the Cloud Administration page or any P6 EPPM module, the following error occurs for all users:

From the web based components:

ERROR
-----------------------
Unable to sign in. Contact your administrator.


From P6 Professional using Cloud Connect or Primavera Virtual Desktop (PVD/SGD):

ERROR
-----------------------
Invalid login name or password. Please try again or choose Cancel to exit the application.
Could not bind to LDAP //servername.int.oracleindustry.com:389/dc=int, dc=oracleindustry, dc=com (8007203A).

 


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Access the cloud environment
  2. Provide login credentials.
  3. Observe reported error.
