Workflow Email Notifications

Customer is concerned with the standard workflow email notifications coming from Oracle and being sent un-encrypted to work email addresses that have sensitive information like personal addresses, salary details, National Identifier Numbers, etc.

They would like to understand the following.
1.) Are the standard workflow email notifications GDPR compliant?
2.) Is there documentation which will state that standard workflow email notifications are or are not compliant with GDPR?
