Goal

Label Designer - Option to change data formats to system acceptable formats

Is there a way to display dates in label designer in different formats? Ex: The batch_number.expiry_date shows 2019-06-12. We need the capability to change this to 06122019 or 06/12/2019. The main reason is during cycle counting the systems displays/prompts for the expiration date.
Goal is to create a barcode with the same expiry date format that the system prompts for.

Currently creating an expiry date barcode in label designer it displays 2019-06-12. Of course during cycle counting or receiving when the system prompts for the expiration date if users try to scan this it doesn't work because the format is not accepted.
Can label designer show this date in format MMDDYYYY or MM/DD/YYYY which is accepted by the system?
