Performance Issues in Internet Explorer After Upgrading Unifier to Version 17 (Doc ID 2428387.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The following performance issues have been identified when using Internet Explorer, following an environment upgrade to 17.12.

ISSUE 1


When users click the "New Tab" button to search for and open a new Project/Shell, as they begin entering the search criteria in the search text box the system does not automatically filter the search results based on the values being entered.  The user must enter a complete set of value(s) for the search criteria and click the magnifying glass for the Project/Shell to show in the search result.

There is a ~10+ seconds delay before the Project/Shell comes up, during which time users cannot determine whether the system is working or not.

ISSUE 2

The system is not refreshing in a timely manner.  When a user is in a Business Process (BP) Log and goes to either another BP Log within that Project/Shell or jumps to another Project/Shell, and comes back to the original BP Log, the page does not refresh - the log is blank/empty/white with no headers.

ISSUE 2a

In almost ALL BP Logs, for any work space location that users were in that went ‘blank’, they need to refresh the BP Log by clicking on the name of the Node in the left hand navigation pane multiple times in order to refresh the page to get data to show.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

  1. The result list should automatically populate the list as values are being entered in the search box.
  2. There should be no system refresh delays when navigating between work spaces.
  3. User's should not need to click on BP node in the left hand navigation pane multiple times for the page to refresh and display data.
