Error 'The system could not process your request' When Bidders Attempt to Add Line Items to Bid Business Process Records (Doc ID 2432022.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create Line Items in a bid Business Process (BP) record, a bidder receives the following error:

The system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to the bidder portal as a bidder.
  2. Open the bid, click Create, and attempt to open a Line Item to add bid details.
  3. View reported error.
