Last updated on JUNE 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Integration-OIC - Version 18.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

This knowledge article reflects updated product names. Oracle Integration (OIC) was formerly known as Autonomous Oracle Integration Cloud (AOIC, A-OIC, AIC, OAIC,OIC, OAC). Please see KM document for the full list of recently renamed PaaS services.

When using the Oracle ERP Adapter in OIC, and creating a new connection, the following documentation is being used:

In the section - Prerequisites for Creating a Connection, Configuring Oracle ERP Cloud for Event Subscriptions, in step 4, it states the following:

4. Provide the username and password that you enter to log in to Oracle Oracle Integration.

Do not enter the username and password created when you subscribed to Oracle ERP Cloud

The Oracle Oracle Integration user must exist in Oracle Oracle Integration and have been assigned the IntegrationServiceRuntime role.

The CSF key entry in the Oracle ERP Cloud infrastructure stores the Oracle Oracle Integration credentials used by Oracle ERP Cloud.

When Oracle Fusion Applications send outbound requests to Oracle Oracle Integration (at runtime), it sends the credentials (username and password) of this account for authentication.

The IntegrationServiceRuntime role does not appear to be available. Can you confirm where this role is?
